Wow what a specimen. Looks to me like a wolf spider. Expert confirmation awaited...

What a catch! An impressive creature indeed.
Never seen this before. Can't come across it on any of the ID sites either. But my closest guess is that it is a wolf spider (though the legs look a bit stouter than usual)
