    Default Silk-n-Dew Festoons

Had created this image sometime after the monsoons last year, near Karnala, Maharashtra. Found it while browsing through some old folders.
This is actually not what I intended to photograph... I was trying to photograph the spider on this web. Later realised that the focus was not on the spider. So cropped the spider out (it was somewhere near the far left of the frame in the original).

Camera Model Name Canon PowerShot SX10 IS
    Shooting Mode Aperture-Priority AE
    Tv (Shutter Speed) 1/60
    Av (Aperture Value) 8.0
    Exposure Compensation -1
    ISO Speed 100
    Flash On
    Flash Exposure Compensation 0
    Shutter curtain sync 1st-curtain

    Thanks, C&C awaited.

Nice patterns. The clean background enhances the image. Wish the web was extended in the lower left corner. A higher DOF would have been good. Thanks for sharing.

    Thanks Mrudul,
Agree about the need for a higher DOF, but this was photographed in macro mode using f8, the narrowest aperture in my camera.

I like the limited DOF here. Helps keep the eye in the frame. Thanks for Sharing.

Nice patterns. The repeated patterns makes this image. I am happy that you photographed this, though accidentally. We should keep our eyes open to see natures patterns. I am sure, with an SLR it would have been even better.

    Cheers,
    Sabyasachi
