I like the low perspective and the composition. A monitor has some lovely patterns on its skin. Using a still narrower aperture would have helped you to capture that more. I agree that the chosen DOF in this case helps keep interest in the eye and the forked tongue, but a further narrower aperture (F9-F10) would have added better dimensions to the image. What ISO were you shooting at? Thanks for sharing
The low angle is nice. The eye contact and the forked tongue make the image interesting. The texture on the skin has come out well. Agree a narrower aperture would have enhanced the image further. Thanks for sharing.

The colour temperature needs to be reduced. That would strengthen the image.
