    I think cropping the water from the foreground would be good, it is a bit distracting. Wish the kingfisher were a bit larger in the frame. The light seems bad, was it late in the evening? Thanks for sharing.

    Nice image. Slight crop from the right would be better. Though light was low, I would have tried a couple of shots at f8.

    The perch looks intriguing however it takes attention away from the small subject. Wish you had got it bigger in the frame. Thanks for sharing.

    Thank you everyone for the comments. This was taken in the afternoon and the light was harsh but the birds were in the shade. I clicked it with evaluative metering maybe i should have also tried center weighted or spot. I shot this at 400mm.

    i think it is a ladscape with bird as an element...good image.
