The composition is nice. The eye contact is fine. The diagonal branch and the clean background looks good. I think the eye doesn't look critically sharp, you can just check the AF point to be sure. Thanks for sharing.

Composition is fine. It is not easy to position the vehicle as there is a chance of this fellow flying away. Moving to the right would have helped in avoiding the out of focus tree behind the woodpecker. 1/200 shutter speed is low for this bird.

others have already mentioned may points. I feel there is too much negative space in the frame. I would crop it vertically. its Just my idea.
