    Default Crested Serpent Eagle

    This was taken during the Tiger census operation in Similipal.As the tree was in a great distance I have to crop it down a lot to frame it.

    Satya,
    The composition works. You need to desaturate. One sure shot indication is always a deep blue sky, which means you have over saturated the image. You also need to relook your post processing as there are areas in the wings with clipped blacks i.e. some of the blacks have no details. I think the lighting was harsh, and you have tried to recover details from the highlights.

    At times these birds allow you a closer approach, if you move slowly. Look forward to more.
