    Default Aerial Photography

My attempt at an Aerial shot from the aircraft cabin, as the pilot made a pass over the airstrip before landing at Agatti, Lakshwadeep Islands.

The dark blue water is the sea. The Turquoise blue water is the lagoon and the Coral reef seperates the Lagoon from the sea.

    A Sony S80, F5.6, 1/640 (no manual shutter control)

Still could not avoid the cabin glass reflection

    Hi Rajan,

Nice aerial shot. There is a bit of the reflection of the glass as you said, but still the image has come quite clear and the colours are nice.

If you could have captured the full runway, it would have definately added to the image.
    Easy to say :-)

    Nice try.

    Thanks

No way i could have got the full runway, since the plane was flying right across the middle and both the window's offered bits of the runway as views!!

    Rajan,
I like the composition. The landing area is a nice curve and frames the runway nicely.

You have to press the lens to the window. If there is a gap, then there would be chances of reflection. The windows are most of the times messy. But it is better to get that image. I would have preferred the image with the date stamp off. You can also clone it.
