The composition and the details are nice. A slight head turn towards you would have enhanced the composition further. Thanks for sharing.

To sight a tusker is always special - now limited to very few forests.
The summer is very harsh and these animals are making best use of water where ever it is.
Thanks for sharing.
Nice capture of the lone tusker.
Been planning Kabini for a while, how are the herds faring at the man made island? Did you get to see the huge numbers of elephants which congregate and any calves?

Nikhilesh - Elephant sighting with large herds is best sighted at Kabini during summer due to migration. Take 1-2 boat ride you will get to see elephants even swimming across the backwaters. The largest herd that I have seen at kabini is once 100 and other visit it was 90.
At present Leopard and Tiger sightings have also been good at Kabini.
Agree abt the head turn. The wet look on the elephant's skin and the environment portrayal look good.
TFS.
Nice compostion and image Praveen.Good work.
Regards
Nice scene. The light feels a bit harsh. A bit more space on the left side might have been better. Thanks for sharing.
