When you are photographing from the backside of an animal, the depth of field becomes less. Slight changes in tone curve by decreasing the blacks and shadows will enhance the image. It would have been good if the tree were not there just infront of him. Did you get any image with the sadhu in the frame? Thanks for sharing.

    Cheers,

Sabyasachi- Thanks for the suggestions. Unfortunately I have no images of Sadhu in frame, initially we didn't even know about Sadhu's presence as he was quite far & there was a slight curve in the track, hence we did not see him but tiger did. We thought the tiger was reacting after spotting a deer or some other prey. When we saw sadhu, it was a panic situation. The tiger quickly ran and hid in the bushes on the left and was keeping a close on the sadhu.
We moved our gypsy ahead to provide cover to sadhu, hence could not get any images of sadhu.
