Good details in the wings. The high shutter speed has managed to freeze the wings. I wish a complete upstroke of the wings so that the underside could have been lighted better. The eye is not lighted and that reduces the impact of this image.

For panning shots, try when the birds are flying at a lower level along the tree line and then pan. The shutter speed has to be lower for panning. You may check the tips section for panning.
