Default To have such Ads is a disgrace

It is a disgrace that firms as reputed as Volkswagon are dumb enough to make ads like this. Whatever happened to ethical advertising!!!

Is there any channel by which this can be reported?

    This certainly is a disgrace.

It often happens when multinationals linger around. In fact it would'nt be a wild thinking if these fancy tests were infact done by erst-while companies when they came to India for trade - when 'game' was flourishing.

Good that you noticed this, Bhibav. Many advertisements go unnoticed.

We can certainly take up this - first step will be to send VW a communication stating that this adverstisement is disgrace and that they have to revoke it immediately.

Not sure if this is a right approach - experts on this like Patra should advise.

This advertisement is against the law. It encourages people to break the Wildlife laws. The minimum that Volswagen can do now, is to immediately withdraw the advertisement and issue an apology.

Please write a complaint to the following:

The Advertising Standards Council of India (ASCI)
    http://www.ascionline.org/regulation/howtocomplain.htm

and also to the MoEF (Ministry of Environment and Forests) at mosef@nic.in
