    Nice pose and eye contact. The open beak is a plus. I would have liked to add more space to the right from left. The textures on the bark are nice. Where was this photographed? Thanks for sharing.

    Reducing the aperture to f8 would have given you 1/640 shutter speed and would have helped in freezing its head better. The open beak adds interest to the scene. Do you have a vertical? Thanks for sharing.

    I like the details on the bark. Bummer that the woodpecker is on the shadow side of the tree. Reducing the ISO and widening the Aperture would have worked well here in my opinion. The open beak is a plus. Thanks for sharing.
