    Default Painted Stork, standing tall!

Had a good time in Sultanpur sanctuary. Though 300mm lens wasnt very helpful there but managed to get close to this one.
It was pushed away by the group of cormorants and stood on a branch close to me.

Lovely branch. It frames well. Slightly more space at the bottom would have been good. It is good that you got it doing some action rather than just perched on the branch.

I like the pose and the framing. Including a bit more at the bottom to get the curved branch in full would have been better. The open beak is a plus. Look forward to more. Thanks for sharing.

The eye contact and the open beak is nice. Its good you got it in the open with no other distractions. Thanks for sharing.

Nice shot with good overall exposer in a difficult situation. Love that open beak pose.
