A Laughing Dove Enroute to Pulicat Lake
Visited Pulicat Lake late this season...Hence the cynosures of the lake (the flamingos, open-billed storks, pelicans) were missing or sparse. But we managed to spot this beautiful laughing dove.
f5.6, 1/400, ISO-100
Canon EOS 400D,
Sigma 120-400mm lens. Taken at max telephoto end.
Time: Around 7am, slightly overcast conditions.
Nice image. Wish the bird would have been sharper.

I like the composition. A bit more brightness and sharpening will help.

With the increased brightness and contrast the details have come out well.
