    Default Pelican Taking Flight: Take 2

    Tech Spec: Canon EOS 400D, f5.6, 1/800, ISO200.

    After receiving the feedback about the positioning of the pelican, I browsed through the series I had taken. Here is one, which is slightly soft.

    Posting it purely to understand whether this position is better than the previous post.

    Critique most welcome!

    Lovely shot. Loved the spalshing water.It surely is better composed and positioned than the earlier shot.

    It looks nice when the wings are completely downward or completely upward. This image captures the water splash completely. In the previous image, the water splash was a bit cutoff. Since the Pelican is taking off, the water splash is integral to the image. The previous image was sharper.

    You can see a slight change in composition is making a huge impact on the image.
