    Default Robber Fly with Prey

Robber fly with a house fly meal. The bristles on the face (mystax) help protect it when it encounters relatively dangerous prey.

Camera Model Name Canon PowerShot SX10 IS
    Shooting Mode Aperture-Priority AE
    Tv (Shutter Speed) 1/640
    Av (Aperture Value) 5.7
    ISO Speed 100
Cropped. I've done a bit of cloning in the BG to get rid of a small bright OOF spot.

    Thanks, C&C awaited.

The details look nice. I like the head on pose here. The hairs look nice. Robberflies make good macro subjects. Love the way you get multiple colours in their eyes. Thanks for sharing.

The low angle is good, that has helped to get the background and foreground nicley out of focus. The details are nice. Agree with Bibhav. Very well captured. Look forward to more.

I agree with the previous comments. The low angle has helped in blurring the background. I wish you had some more depth of field. Thanks for sharing.
