Nice image. You may reconsider the font size used, as the name dominates in the image.

I agree with the composition. However, in these kind of images, depth of field plays a huge role. You may need to experiment with your position, and the angle of your camera/lens ie. of the sensor plane. The areas parallel to the sensor plane will be in focus.

Using a tripod in this situation will help. That would enable you to use a slower shutter speed and narrower aperture. Narrow aperture like f11 etc would give you greater depth of field and hence more of the cobweb will be in focus.
