    From my recent trip to Bandipur, tried bw treatment on this, not sure if this works on this image.

    Camera Model Canon EOS 40D, 100-400mm
    Tv( Shutter Speed ) 1/400
    Av( Aperture Value ) 4.5
    ISO 400
    Focal length 100mm
    Full frame & handheld

    The b/w treatment looks good. The pose and the curled trunk adds to the image. The light was bad, else a further narrower aperture would have been good. Thanks for sharing.

    The black and white images look better when there is more difference in contrast. Look forward to see this one grow up into a giant tusker. Haven't seen a tusker for several months. Look forward to more.

    I like this image very much. The pose is very nice and the position of the trunk is equally good.
