Lovely shot, Praveen! Especially in the difficult conditions. Light was real bad today in Pune too. Waiting eagerly for these unseasonal rains to get over. I like the perch and the angle.
Looking at the beak and extent of streaking on the breast, this looks more like a Lark - most probably an Indian Bushlark - to me. Pipits have more slender and pointy beaks with heavy streaking on the breast. Which Pipit have you narrowed down your search to? That will help in comparison.
