It is an interesting challenge photographing these fast moving cute birds. With these fast moving birds, I am uncomfortable if the shutter speed is less than 1/800. However, at times they will just pause for a brief moment, and if you manage to click precisely at that time, then a lower shutter speed will be sufficient.
In this case, I wish the light was from the other side, as the shadow of the beak falls on the eye. Light seems to be low. Was it close, or did you use the full focal length of your lens? Thanks for sharing.

The eye contact is nice. I would have preferred less space at the top to avoid the bright out of foucs areas. I agree with Sabyasachi's comments. Look forward to more. Thanks for sharing.

The light is bit low as the day was cloudy and used focal length for click
And the pic is cropped (about 25%) for posting
Nice image, wish light was btter and agree with comments. Sabyasachi has made valid point about shutter speed.
