    Default Tiger/Bandipur - Record shot

Shot this at Bandipur on Friday (10th Dec'10), as we entered the forest within 20 mins at about 4:20pm we sighted this female tiger from no where, just a glimpse. I messed up on photographing since my mode by mistake had turned to CA (Creative Auto Mode), so it has picked up setting on its own
But I am glad that this year it has been great sighting of tigers for me especially in Bandipur, in all I have seen 9 different this year.

Camera Model Canon EOS 7D, 500mm

    Av( Aperture Value ) 7.1

Good that you saw the tiger. It is great that you have sighted tiger so many times in bandipur. Were all the AF points selected? The camera has picked up the nearest object and locked focus. This happens when the tiger is in a bush, and the af points pick up some of the vegetation infront of it. You need to program the CA mode. Thanks for sharing.
