    Default Red-necked Falcon

One of the beauty from the Falcon family. They are way too agile and we had seen them zoom past us couple of times. However when we got a chance, not only we could see it properly, but we saw it with its mate!

    Clicked high up - quite a steep angle. Pune, EOS 7D, 400mm f/5.6L @ f/8, 1/800, ISO 400, Cropped.

Wow! Nice image Tushar, I like the inquisitive looks in the eye. It is perched on a neem tree, nice catch.

Nice catch. Somehow the head seems a little bit soft. Either it moved a bit or the depth of field is not sufficient to cover its head. The leaves seem to be sharp. Thanks for sharing. Look forward to more of this species.

Nice sighting. The eye contact and the perch is good. Agree about the depth of field. The catchlight in the eye is nice. Thanks for sharing.

A nice capture of a beautiful bird. I agree that it does look a bit soft. The eye contact is fine. Thanks for sharing.
