    Default Drongo Black

I had gone to Guhagar, Konkan ,Maharashtra on 31 st Dec 2010. I was looking for pair of WOODPACKER YELLOW -CROWNED (MAHRATTA) and this drongo was sighted sitting in bit dark, so I had to adjust ISO to 800.
    7D , Exposure Time 1/500 sec,F5.6, Focal length 400 mm.
Photograph is trimed to adjust file size.
In last thread,GREEN BEE EATER, by mistake I had witeen F4 instead of F 5.6.

Nice image Ajit, love the eye contact & perch on this. A narrow aperture would have been even better.

The bird appears to be in shadow. Dialling in a positive exposure compensation would help in bringing out details better in the blacks.

The perch is nice. I liked the eye contact. You could have placed the bird a bit more to the right with more space to left. Agree a +ve exposure compensation would have brought out more details.
Guhagar is a beautiful place, could you get any landscapes? Thanks for sharing.
