Default Barnacles' view of the setting sun!

A barnacle crusted rock is a strange sight to see. Looking like a part of the rock, yet living. People often use hammers and break their hard covering to get to the soft meat inside.

Here I wanted to portray a partially raided barnacle colony against the setting sun.

This was shot in Morjim Beach.

    Interesting.

How far or lower was the water level? Wondering if a 2x TC with a slightly lower Sun would have been better. The 2x TC will result in the Sun being larger in the frame. Look forward to some more experimentations.

    Cheers,

The sea was around 5-10 feet away. This rock would be at a height of 3 feet or so if I remember correctly.

The vertical composition looks good. Agree that if the sun was lower it would enhanced the composition further. Thanks for sharing the details. Look forward to more.
