    Default Common Teal (Male)

One of the delicate and most beautiful of the ducks. I don't the image makes full justice to its beauty and I will be patiently waiting for it again

Clicked in Pune, EOD 7D, 500mm f/4 IS+1.4x, f/8, 1/800, ISO 800, ground level shot. The best way to click ducks is take your position early in the morning lay there motionless. Takes a lot of patience but rewards are awesome!

Thanks to Sabyasachi for allowing high dimension (1024) images. Let's see how it comes up. C&C most welcome!

The details and the colours are lovely. The low angle enhances the image further. Well captured. Thanks for sharing.

I like the low angle. The catchlight in the eye looks good. The horizontal 1024 looks better, however, I find it becomes difficult to view images where the vertical dimension is around 900 or 1000 pixels. This is when I view with a monitor with 1680 x 1050 pixels. Thanks for sharing.

    Cheers,
    Sabyasachi

Agree with u that it is difficult to to do justice to the bueaty of this bird in a pic, but this is a fantastic image esp the colours and patterns on the head have come out very well. The bg is nice.

Are the winter vistors in full strenght in that part of the country???? Been quite disappointing down here so far......
