    Nice perch. I liked the eye contact and the crest. The background compliments the bird. Nicely captured. Thanks for sharing.

    It is good that the head is parallel to the camera and eye has come out well. I agree that the colour of the bird complements the habitat/background. How come you used the 70-300 instead of the 400 f5.6? Thanks for sharing.

    I have given my 400mm to canon service for a AF calibration, they just don't seem to be able to complete/revert!

    Hope to get it back today!

    Which Canon service centre? They have level four service centres so, it should not be a problem.

    Mumbai, level 4. kept it with them for 6 weeks in november, nothing done, i took it off them for a trip; gave it back in the second week of jan finally got it today, after escalations.
