Nice image. Wish it was facing towards you. The black border is a bit distracting, you can post images without a border. A natural perch would have enhanced the composition further. Thanks for sharing. Look forward to more from Ranganathittu.

I agree with Mrudul. Borders with matching matt looks good in printing and framing. For critique online, the borders distract. In Ranganathittu, if one is a bit patient then there are good opportunities to photograph these kingfishers. Thanks for sharing.
