Small Pratincole
Small Pratincole, Nal Saroval, Gujarat. Feb 2011.
Was able to approach this bird to reasonably close, also being my first sighting of the bird.
EOS 40D + 70-300IS handheld; about 70% of original
1/400; ISO 200 @ f/8.

The eye contact is nice. If possible lying flat on the ground helps to get the background blurred. Look forward to more from Nal Sarovar. Thanks for sharing.
