    Default Russel's Full body

This one was the best of the lot showing the full body. But analysing it I thought I should have given it a higher aperture to get details all through its body.

    Bibhav,
If you could have moved to your right and ahead, you could have got the body parallel to you. With the body more or less parallel, focussing on the head would have given you enough depth of field to cover the snake. In the present composition, it is not possible to cover the entire body at f5.6.

Lower angle would have helped as well.

    Cheers,

I love Russell's vipers! Typically I'd love a wide angle to shoot snakes, but wouldn't ever do that with a snake as fast and deadly as this one!
