Nice shot. Nicely framed between the bamboo shoots. I think moving to the left (if possible) would have been better. That way, you could have avoided the thorn blocking part of the bird, and the OOF branch right behind the bird.

This birdie was already hopping around quite a lot, disturbed by several cameras clicking simltaneously! Moving forward or to the sides isn't very feasible when shooting from a jeep

I like this image, simply because it feels so fresh and nice. The composition is fine, good details and excellent eye contact, though more head turn would have been great.
Overall a very pleasing image, I can see that there is tremendous improvement in your photography and PP as well.
