Grass Yellow(s)
Shot the pair of grass yellow at JLR-bandipur. Not sure what subspecies of grass yellw they belong to.
Any assitance in this regards along with some insight into the behavior (mating, perhaps?) is welcome

Yes, they are Grass Yellows, and yes, they are mating. Nice shot. Wish you had got them on a plant. The details look nice. A more flat angle ( a vertical with the camera against the wall) would have been good as well.
