    Default Injured Nightjar

    One of my colleague spotted this injured beauty, need help as how to take care of it...Shall be taking to the Vet for sure, but got the appointment for evening. Need help about First Aid.
    It cannot fly properly, keeps on toppling if it try to fly.

    Just saw this. Did you visit the Vet? Is it better now?

    Had shown it to a local vet, he suggested to give it some prescribed powder(mixed with water) but later a member of INW Mr. Devesh Gadhvi sent across the details to his company's vet Dr. Naveen Pandey and after having a detailed discussion about its condition he has suggested some treatment and ways to handle it. Unfortunately the bird is neither drinking nor eating anything, and to top that it doesnt even open its beak so force feeding is also not possible... ..hope it takes in something by evening or I shall have to leave it at the outskirts of Baramati when dark...
