    Default Monitorscape.....

    Dear All

Monitor from the Ranthambhore national park. The monitor was busy egg hunting from lapwing nests in the ground. In fact the Lapwing pairs constant shrieking and harrying the monitor drew our attention to it.

Nice pose and eye contact. The surroundings give a nice feel of its habitat. Its good that the branch in the foreground is not blocking its eye. The details are nice. I like the present composition as it, but thinking a slight less space in the foreground would be good. Would like more opinion on that from everyone. Thanks for sharing.

Nice eye contact. Wish the foreground dried branches were not there. In this scene, a higher depth of field would have been even better. I would have loved to move to the right and frame the head within the branch. Thanks for sharing.
