    Default Fungus (ID required)

    This was photographed a few days back in Matheran. Saw this fungus for the first time. About 2 inches in height.

    Canon 500D, Canon 100mm Macro USM
    Aperture-Priority AE
    Tv 1/80
    Av 8.0
    ISO 1600

    Full frame

    Nice observation. The low angle enhanced the composition. The details are nice, the cob-web on it is also visible . At 1/80 you got it nicely. Were you using a tripod? Thinking you could have moved a bit to the right and tried a vertical composition, just a suggestion. Thanks for sharing.

    Thanks Mrudul. I clicked this lying flat on the ground. No tripod used. I also have verticals, will post them later (will be away for a few days).

    Not sure about the identification. I agree that the cobweb makes this image interesting. A vertical would have been good. Moving the camera more to the left to avoid the leaf on the right bottom would have been even better. Thanks for sharing.
