The image is sharp. The open beak is a big plus. Background is relatively clean. I would love to see the head slightly turned towards you, as that will increase the eye contact. I would like to see the bird larger in the frame. No not by cropping, but try getting close to it. There are too many photos in the online forums where the image is cropped heavily and presented to a crowd ready to applause. Let us try to improve our incamera images.
I think small targets like these will improve our photography.
