    Ashy Crowned Sparrow Lark shot at shamirpet lake hyderabad. Instead of overexposing i underexposed - big mistake

    Lovely perch and eye contact. The clean background adds to the composition. Why only 5.6? You could have used 6.3. Wish the eye was in light. Was it possible for you to move to right for a side profile? Thanks for sharing.

    Mrudul the birds were in plenty but at the same time very alert to our presence, this is the best that I could do from quite some distance. Also Im slowly getting used to the 7d body and the reaction time is coming down with the techniques.

    I like the perch and the BG. Though I was beside you, I didn't shoot this bird Anyway, got a couple of shots yesterday- need to check how they turned out. I would like more details on the bird, specially seeing the shutter speed. With a little more practice, you will be able to handhold even at shutter speeds of 1/200 or lesser, which will enable you to use much narrower apertures in good lighting like this

    I agree with the previous comments. Instead of the dark patch in background behind the bird if it were uniformly bright green, then the overall appeal would have increased. However, that is not in your control. Thanks for sharing.
