Nice behaviour shot.It can be seen that she is splashing water all around, but the other elephants doesnt seem to be affected by her.

She is so beautiful. Nice shots of herds.
Elephant can take around 12-14 liters of water inside trunk to either drink or to spray.

Since this image has 1/100 sec shutter speed, f8 aperture at ISO 200, the splash was not captured adequately. It required a higher shutter speed to capture the splash. Opening up the lens further from f8 to f5.6 would have increased the shutter speed by one stop ie. from 1/100 to 1/200. That would have been better.

Sagar this is in Kabini (part of Nagarhole). One can see lot of elephants in Kabini in summer. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to go there since february.

In this image you can see the finger at the tip of the elephants trunk. Indian elephants have got one finger at the tip of the trunk where as african elephants have got 2 fingers at the tip of their trunk.
