Looks like a big one. This one came into your house? I think I had seen a similar spider posted by Abhishek. I think he can help with the id. Thanks for sharing.

Hello Atul,
Try Poecilotheria regalis (Indian Ornamental, King Parachute Spider, Regal Parachute Spider)
AND
www.pticjipajki.com - gallery
All probability a variety of Parachute spider.
Atul,
very nice specimen. Great find in your house :-). I cant confirm the id as i dont have access to any sources at the moment, but will get back to you. Useful info shared by Chandrashekharan, appreciate it.
Thanks for the comments and identification. Mrudul it came to my house in Goa. It was around 5.5 inches.
Regards,
Atul
Atul,
I think Chandrasekaran is right, it does look like Poecilotheria. Cant confirm the species though. These are venomous spiders, and I believe it is unusual to find one in a house. Please excercise caution when you encounter these.

Surprised to see this species inside a house. Good find. In childhood days used to see many species of spiders as dad was doing his research.
