    Nice image..in the middle of such pristine greenery the reservoir wall stands out as an eye sore.

    Nice view of the landscape. Looks good to see dense forests. From ground level viewing the ecotourism huts (actually buildings ) is terrible. The Parambikulam forest rest houses and later the ecotourism buildings have come up in an once pristine location. Hundreds of gaurs used to come to that place. Even today, one can sight elephants nearby. One DFO first cleared the area and later on others moved in to set up the buildings.

    It is always a treat to eyes to see dense forests. Lovely landscape. Ecotourism is surely destroying the forests. Thanks for sharing.

    Lovely Landscape.Parambikulam and Anamalai being contiguous (258 +958 )1216 sq.km stretch of wilderness and both being declared as Tiger Reserves, let us hope that the pristine beauty will remain for ever.Thanks for sharing.SaktiWild
