    Default Asian Openbill Stork

    Hi,

Shot this in Pune. There were couple of Asian Openbill Stork's around, but they had perched on the other side of the river.

    Please critique.

Nice flight shot. Good eye contact. Wish it was a bit closer. Thanks for sharing.

Asian Openbill is a Common Stork. The open Gap in the bill and black flight feathers are well documented.Appears to be slightly out of focus. Thanks for sharing.SaktiWild

The openbilled storks are common in paddy fields. This stork had caught my imagination during the childhood days when I saw their open bills.

I like the down stroke of the wings. It is moving slightly away from you. It looks good when the bird is flying towards you ie. into the frame or parallel to the frame. Thanks for sharing.

    Cheers,
