    Talking Tsunami hit regions..after years..

    this was shot at a place called Pichavaram, a region of Back waters..10kms from the World renowned place Chidambaram, Tamil Nadu..this was earlier a slum area..but unfortunately after Tsunami its found devoid of human interference..Camera-Sony DSC H10, Lens inbuilt..please do teach me how to know the shutter speed n other technical aspects of photography..as am very new to it..

    Hi Hari,

    Its good to know, that this place has acquired its wilderness again. Have you taken this photograph in afternoon? The light is harsh. Landscapes are best shot early in the morning or late afternoons.

    I agree with Mrudul. This scene would have looked better in early morning or late evening light. A few clouds would have made it better as well. There is a piece of plastic lying there. It would have been better without it.
