    Default Successful attempt

    Hi,

Another shot of river tern from the same session. This attempt was successful. It was out with a small fish.

    Please critique.

You captured the right moment. The spalsh and the fish in the beak adds to the image. Wish you were closer so there would be more details in the image. Its good that you can keep visiting the place and keep trying. I think if possible try to make a hide and sit closer, you wont have to crop. Thanks for sharing.

Nice action captured. The flash of the River Tern as it breaks the surface of water well documented.

I agree with the previous comments. You got it at the right moment. If the light was from behind you, then it would have been even better as the under parts of the wing and the eye would have come out better. Thanks for sharing.
