    Default Tiger weekend series#1/Bandipur

This is a female cub ~ aged 14 months old, appreciate the efforts put in by the mother (Gowri) in raising & ensuring that her cubs are safe and
healthy. The shooting conditions were difficult, yet I am glad that my first shot from my new 1D Mark IV came in form of this beautiful cub and incidentally this my first image of a Tigress cub shot in Bandipur.

    Camera - Canon EOS 1D Mark IV, 500mm + 1.4x TC

Congratulations on the new camera Good to see Gowri's cub- it's been a while since there have been any pictures of her cubs! Seems like she was quite far. I like the composition; good that you got her almost in the clear.

Look forward to more images from the other two sightings you had

    Cheers

It seems like a large crop. Nevertheless it is always good to sight a tiger. Look forward to images from the other sightings as well.

    Cheers,
