It is nice to see such a massive creature. Wondering how long these giants will roam in our jungles. When was this photographed?

    Shri Sabyasachi,
All the habitat photographs of Kaziranga posted one by one are from my second visit to this PARADISE ON EARTH for 1 week commencing from 25/03/2007.The diversity of the Kaziranga can fully be realised if all 3 Ranges viz.Central,Western and Eastern are visited. In addition Panbari Range( now included within T.R) should also be covered on foot( with an experienced armed guide) in the very early morning( you have to start from Kohora at 3.30- 4 A.M.) to photograph Hoolock gibbon,Capped langur, Tusker and if luck favours, even King Cobra( my friend made it)basking in a bamboo bush.I missed Panbari trip(my two friends visited),God wanted that way, and that possibly saved lives of all. That is a different story.
National Altas has brought out a detailed map of Kaziranga.
All these you know, that I know, and yet, the Tale of a Jungle is always repeated to another who also loves our Jungle.
    Kind regards,
    SaktiWild
