Tiger in hiding/Bandipur

After watching and photographing the female cub that later disappeared in the bushes. We were driving quite slowly to see if we can find more cubs and suddenly I noticed a Tiger hiding behind the bushes & watching us. I am not sure if this was the male or female as it never came out. I was happy to shoot as is. EXIF : ISO 400, Av 6.3 Tv 1/500 EC - 0.3

Nice sighting. Looks like a young tiger. Its good you got one eye in the clear. Are the leaves on the right side in focus, where was the AF point? Thanks for sharing.

Nice habitat photo.Full face well focussed. To me, it seems ,it was intending to cross the road, picked up the noise of the jeep from a distance,stopped immediately and now looking at you with probing eyes.The forest has given him some natural cover.It is not hiding, as I see it.Sometime when a Jeep from opposite direction comes at a higher speed and passes your Jeep while you are moving slowly forward in the late morning or at late afternoon,you always stand a good chance to see a tiger. You have definitely experienced it.Thanks for sharing.SaktiWild

Tough to click a tiger in dense vegetation. Unfortunately, our gypsys crowd around whenever there is a sighting. Looks like there is a stick infront of the eye and its shadow falling on the eye. The sharpening needs to be slightly toned down. The stump of the tree on the left attracts attention. Unforunately, that is the challenge one has to live with while clicking a subject in bush. Look forward to more.
