    Default Care to count?

Black Tailed Godwits in flight at Mangalajodi. This image is only indicative of their sheer numbers. The sound when they take of at once is nothing short of spectacular. I could record some small videos as well from the boat just to capture the spectacle of it (in motion). Its almost organic as a group with a mind of its own.

    Canon EOS 7D, 300 f/4L IS USM + 1.4x II Extender
    SS 1/800 (+0.3 EC)
    f/8
    ISO 800

Full Frame Image. Comments and Critiques welcome.

What I meant by that was when they fly as a group changing directions, I feels like it is one organism and not an entire flock!

Lovely crowd there . Good job on the exposure. Just wondering, could you have captured the full glory of it through a shorter lens, say the 18-55 or 100mm?
