    Would appreciate if any one of you can educate me on the zoological name.

    Tadoba. 1/500;f6.3; Evaluative Metering; shutter priority; PP to crop and sharpen. 100-400 @ 400; Canon 60D.

    Indian Pond Heron or Paddybird, Ardeola grayii. An off-centred composition would have looked better.

    There is about 15% crop on the sides.

    I agree with Abhishek.

    Less space on the left and more on the right ie. more space in the direction the bird is looking would result in a more dynamic composition.

    The details and the eye contact is nice. Agree an off centered composition would be good. Thanks for sharing.
