    Default Flamingoes

Finally managed to spend some time with the lovely flamingoes at Airoli creek, navi mumbai. Lots of flamingoes have migrated to the airoli creek and it was quite a treat to watch them in huge numbers. Unfortunately the swamp and mangroves along with mud flats make it inaccessible on foot. Shot the images from a flyover connecting Mumbai to Navi Mumbai.Do have some more close ups, will post later.Cropped a bit.

    Nikon D3100, F/6.3, exposure 1/160,70-300 @focal length 110mm.

Nice to see flamingos are coming here in good numbers. Which are the other small birds which can be seen on the right? Look forward to the close-ups. Thanks for sharing.

Nice one. Waders with their smaller size and larger numbers along with the larger size of the flamingoes and smaller numbers makes it an interesting image. Thanks for sharing.
