    Default Juvenile (??) Hawk Cuckoo

    1/800; f5.6; ISO400; 100-400@380...Full Frame.
I did not want to move to compose full view of the bird...instead zoomed out to 380. First image as the bird perched. I think the prey slipped as I did not see the bird eating in the 2.26 minutes I watched the bird. Stopped shooting to see with the naked eye.

Good you got the eye sharp through the branches. Nice to see with a catch. A slight more space at the bottom would be good as the tail tip is touching the frame. Nicely captured. Thanks for sharing.

Nice to see it with prey. the clutter is distracting...Can't do much about that though

Good job at focusing through the branches. These birds are fast at gulping down the prey as well. Since you are following these birds everyday, I am sure soon you will get an image of it with prey in a relatively open area. Thanks for sharing.

    Cheers,
