Hi all,
South Indian tigers are under-represented on IndiaWilds. So a record shot of my 16th individual tiger and my first South Indian tiger.

Thanks for looking. Comments welcome.

Almost smells of Rasam...
Nice pic while the king is on the move.
Apana,
Great that you shot one in the South. I have a love hate relation with the king in the south as far as photography is concerned. 100% love from my side, but ...... Have watched a tiger in my Safari headlights for about 20 mins or so, before I switched off the lights and sat silently in the moonlight with the tiger about 15 feet above on the hill. Then I switched on the light and watched the tiger for another 10-15 mins and then swtiched off and sat there. The tiger was still there and finally I left it and returned back. Have heard the moaning calls, growls etc but haven't been able to click.
I like the framing in this image.
Cheers,
Sabyasachi
